Our agency has always had a strong connection to Borough Markets, and we loved and respected the way the local community always stuck together.
So we decided to do some ads for a local pub The Rake. After all, we’d already given them lots of beer money, so why not some ideas?
The Rake is a no frills place that notably puts its love into the beer. Even down to inviting their brewers to write over the pub's walls.
Our idea flowed from this insight, with the line “Where the Beer Comes First”.
And just like their beers, our campaign was a labour of craft.
